Gather your people. Collect stuff. Change lives.
So you want to host a donation drive. Thank you! Whether it’s at work, church, school, or in your neighborhood, you’re about to make a real difference.
What to Collect
- Hygiene: soap, shampoo, conditioner, toothpaste, deodorant, feminine products, diapers, baby wipes, lotion, sunscreen, insect repellant
- Food: Shelf stable meats - that don't require a can opener like spam, tuna packets, vienna sausages, jerky, peanut butter, fruit,
- Clothing: new socks and underwear, winter coats, gloves, hats, scarves
- Kitchen: pots, pans, dishes, utensils, coffee makers, toasters, microwaves
- Household: twin, full, and queen sheets, blankets, towels, laundry baskets, cleaning supplies
- Other: backpacks, reusable water bottles, flashlights, batteries, first aid items
Keep it simple and pick 1–2 categories. Please: no broken, stained, or recalled items.
Step-by-Step Guide
- 1. Set a Goal and Date. Example: “We will collect 50 hygiene kits in two weeks.”
- 2. Pick a Drop‑Off Spot. Office breakroom, church lobby, or your front porch. Label it: “Do Good Today Donations”.
- 3. Spread the Word. Share what you’re collecting via email, social media, or a simple flyer.
